Re: ENDO an autoimmune disease?

Hi, I have stage 4 endo. I have also been diagnosed with Epstein Barr virus and I think I have at times had all the symptoms of Fibromyalgia. It seems that when my endo is at its worst I think it triggers chronic fatigue type symptoms which I think is related to Epstein Barr and mono and fibromyalgia etc. Every time I get the endo cleaned up all the other symptoms seem to disappear too. Then when the endo returns, so do the other symptoms. Somehow, for me, it seems to be related. Also, I have read that endometriosis is/or is suspected of being an autoimmune disease itself. Supposedly, people with endometriosis are at higher risk of getting other autoimmune diseases than people who don't have endo (this also includes allergies). I know a lot of this is me guessing and putting together bits and pieces of things I've read together, but I hope it helps. I suffered for a long time with the chronic fatigue symptoms before I found out that I had endo. Hopefully, soon they will be able to diagnose endo easier.
