Danielle, I don't know much about alternative treatments per se, but as an alternative to Lupron you could go on continuous birth control pills. My doctor suggested the Lupron, too, but after reading about the side effects and horror stories, I decided to not take it. It was slow going at first, I had my period non stop instead of not at all. I went on several different kinds of BCP before finally finding one that stopped my period all together. I have not had my full period since fall of 2001 and my surgery was in spring of 2000. It helped me a lot. Of course I still have breakthrough bleeding occasionally, like if I forget a pill or if something really stressful happens, but it has helped me get through college which I didn't think was possible. I know that you were looking for something other than medication to treat your endo, but CBCP is all I know. I hope this little bit of info was helpful. -Jules
