No, the doctors can't see that the organs are bound together by adhesions w/ultrasound. You'd think that maybe the distortion of anatomy might be obvious, but I guess not. My adhesions were so dense and tying everything together that my surgeon couldn't even see my organs during the lap. But before the surgery all they were aware of from the ultrasound was a chocolate cyst on my left ovary. They can't see endometriosis on the ultrasound either. Not only can't they come up with a cure but they can't even come up with a better test than surgery to see if you have endo. An easier diagnosis sure would help a lot of people.
