Re: does the pill only take away the pain?

I have been on cbcp for five years now and was on regular bcp for five years before that(also before I was diagnosed). My understanding is that the pill, when used continuously, is to keep the endo from growing as well as help with the pain. It has worked pretty well for me over the last couple of years, but is beginning to fail. I also have adhesions, and a really deep one just to the left of my right ovary, though, so I don't really know if my problem is adhesions or endo. I hope this helps.
