This message to Denise (20 yrs old)

My advise to you is simple, "FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR NOW!!!" The one you have now seems to have no bed-side manner (as I have found many don't anymore) Yeah, take Vicoden is what I was told. This is not the answer. The ONLY way you can be diagnosed with Endo is through a procedure called LAPEROSCOPY, it is a minor surgery they do through your belly button with the help of a small light that is placed in a TINY incision in your ab area. PLEASE go and have this done. I have Endo, the only reason why I found out was by talking to my sister who has it (another reason to find another Dr. - it is in the family) I was put on the pill in high school (DON"T DO THIS) and stayed on for 10 years, then I got married and was having trouble trying to get pregnant......6 years later, still waiting. Have lost my left ovary as well as falopian tube due to this. My cycles made me want to curl up and die, bowel movements hurt, intercourse hurt. I have read that MAGNESIUM helps, please look up on the net. I have been taking 800mg for about 5 months now and I feel great, not sure if this is the answer, but it is not VICODEN and is good for you. Try and see if this helps. I don't think you are probably trying to get pregnant at your age, maybe I am wrong. But, I was put on Lupron for a while so it would stop the growth. Maybe this helped along with Magnesium. I don't have all the answers, but am learning from others and trying some of the things. Am looking more into the Natural rather than medical. I do have a WONDERFUL Dr. and I sure wish I could share him with the world, but I know there are more out there, you just have to keep looking until your heart feels it is right. DON'T GIVE UP, there is help. Please just take some of it. I hope to hear from you. Take care and God Bless. SUGAR
