I am 20 and was diagnosed last January just after my 20th birthday. I feel lucky to have been diagnosed so early. Anyway, I had a lap in January and started lupron in early march. I took 2 3-month shots which finished in august. My husband and I have decided to start trying to conceive. There were times while taking the lupron that I definatley didn't want to be. But when all said and done, I'm glad I did it. I would have to think about doing it again, but it's worth a try. I did have hot flashes some, but no night sweats so it was tolerable. I had moodiness and irritability but that mostly stopped when i stopped the add back therapy, aygestin. i guess my advice would be that you need to decide what's best for you. as for me, the lupron wasn't a cake walk but it wasn't a horror either.
