This may sound silly but my biggest fear is that I will wake up from surgery and my docs will say "well Courtney, we didn't find anything". On my two previous laps, they've found endometriosis, large polyps and a huge number of other things but every time I go in for one, I start to doubt that they will discover anything. The unknown aspect to what they are going to find is more frightening than if htey said, hey it's a tumor and we need to go in a remove it. I start to feel kind of nuts. These next two weeks until the surgery are going to make me really stressed I think. The longer I have to think about it, the more I wonder what will happen post surgery.
