Re: Endo acting up again?

Yes. My periods have varied greatly over the years. When my period is really heavy, I can go through two superplus tampons with a super pad as a backup in 1-2 hours. The heavy bleeding only last up to 8-12 hours. I usually have clots the size of an egg. Sometimes I'll have tons of small clots, rather than one large one. My period is never shorter than 5 days, and sometimes I'll have staining up until I ovulate. It always stops for about 12 hours, and then starts back up.

Maybe it's time to see your Obgyn again, or just live with it, depending on the severity. This could also be a month you didn't ovulate, which would explain the heavy bleeding.
