Julie, I'd be interested to know what you find out. If you or anyone out there know, does andenomyosis simulate pregnancy? I work in disability claims handling and I came across a claim where the lady's uteris was extended to a term of 8-10 weeks as though she were pregnant but she was diagnosed with adenomyosis. My mother had a hysterectomy because of her adenomyosis at 34. Now, I'm 29 too and my physical showed that my uteris was abnormally large. My doctor's first thoughts? Was I pregnant. Well, I just test very faintly as positive but I have been on birth control non stop and I suspect my excessive blood flow and crippling cramps from previous months are related to adenomyosis. Could my adenomyosis be causing a false positive however faint the little line on the test strip is?
