ok so i went to a second opinion doc. they did an ultrasound. found a cyst the size of a grapefruit. this is my second one of this size opposite ovary. but she told me that cysts that large tend to twist on themselves and can cause an urgent medical emergency. she told me to go home and do nothing. she would call me by the end of the day with an emergency surgery date/time. so going through the emotion of being told you could die at any minute, she calls me an hour later. then she says no we won't do surgery because you had a lap 11 months ago and we never do a 2nd lap in less than a year. then she has the gall to tell me that i am depressed and i need anti-depressants and to go back on lupron. ok. hello, i am not depressed just in alot of flipping pain all the time that affects my quality of life. 2nd lupron caused me heart problems. i went to a heart doc for palpitations and a racing heart while on lupron. no, i will not take that again. my heart is too important to me,thank you very much. i don't understand why she back-pedaled so quick on something she says can endanger my life. has anyone heard of a cyst turning on itself and someone dying from it? i wuold really appreciate some insight into this. she also did not seem worried about how much pain i was in with the endo, just the cyst. needless to say i am going back to my original doc and show him the cyst but that isn't until next week. can someone ease my mind until then with your wonderful suggestions? thanks again for listening, sorry if i sounded harsh at times, i am frustrated with the whole ordeal as many of you are as well. heidi
