Back from surgery (lap)

Hello everyone, I'm back, well sort of. I am in bed and haven't left it since I got home Wednesday morning at 1:30 a.m. I survived my hours and hours of not eating (total of 21 hours) I still think that is to much to ask. By the time it was my turn in the OR room I was cranky, mad, and emotional. Surgery started at 7:45 p.m (I was scheduled for 6 p.m.) and came out around 10:30 p.m. Waking up was the hardest part I came out throwing up and in so much pain. I came home and have been taking the painkillers every 2 to 3 hours. Today is the first day that I can make it to the bathroom by myself and I am feeling a little better but still very sore and I probably will for a while. I have four incisions and one is about 2 1/5 inches long across my belly button the other three are only about 1 inch long. All in all I survived and the good news was that there was no endometriosis this time, however, the scare tissue was the culprit, it covered my stomach, bladder, colon and bowel. We got to bring pictures home and it looked bad. Dr. told my husband that the scar tissue was causeing all the pain and he feels good about saying that he did not think that it was coming back. Great news, just hope he is right.
