I was given three choices by my doctor. Lupron, Continuous BCP or lap. I personally did the lap and then went on continuous bcp. I think that when doctors leave the decision up to the patient, they really respect them. I have had doctors tell me they won't help me if I won't go with the treatment route they wanted. I chose the lap just so I would know for sure what was wrong and wouldn't constantly be wondering. It's a peace of mind thing.
