Hey guys Well the 20 year old with possible endo is now the 20 year old with definite endo. Dr. Franklin is an excellend doctor, as Tina was saying. I would recommend him to anyone in the Houston area. He told me that he can feel the endometriosis. He sent me over to Dr. Mathias, the gastrointestinal specialist, because I was also having problems in this area. He ran tests and let me hear my intestines through the stethoscope. It sounded like rice krispies! He said that it's not supposed to sound like that. He proceeded to do an EGG on me. The results show that I may have diabetes type 2 also, along with the endo. So as you can imagine my mind is a whirl right now. I've been put on a very strict diet, similar to the low carb diet, except far more strict. Tomorrow I go to the lab to do the 5hr glucose tolerance with insulin levels tested every hour test. Has anyone else had problems with endo and diabetes 2 together? I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my last message. I really appreciate all the support I receive from this forum. Tina, I would love more info on endo and the presentation.
