Leigh,
I am suffering with Endometriosis that grows in my belly button. Right
now a dark purple spot fills the entire thing and it's growing. For a
while it was a small spot but it definately changes with my monthly
cycle. Some weeks it's very painful and one week it's fairly mild. I've
had Endometriosis removed from my belly button twice before this. In
about 2 weeks they are going in to "Remove" my umbilicus and reconstruct
me a new one through plastic surgery. In the Hope that this will cure
me. I am skeptical. This is a rare form of this disease. I just
wanted you to know that there are others out there who share your
symptoms and your stuggle.
