I was diagnosed by having a lap. I am surprised that your doctor feels the need to start you on a 6month course of Lupron without a positive testing for endo - I think I would question him on that. My doctor refers to Lupron as "a very aggressive, frontline approach to combat endo discomfort." To answer your questions: I am 34 and I experienced regular menopause symptoms. I felt flu-like for the first few months. One of the hardest things for me personally was the nightsweats- this greatly disturbed my rest which in my opinion, contributed to some of my other symptoms - fatigue, emotional, difficulty concentrating... I was pain free within the first 6 weeks - no more bloating either. I had my last injection July 25th and am happy to report that I am thru with the flashes. I have yet to menstrate, so it is my hope that will be "normal". Best of luck, Lisa
