I dont want to frighten anyone but just want to make you aware. I went into this treatment being positive and still feel I made the right decision. On Sept 3rd I received my first injection of Lupron. Within 3 hours I started gushing blood and within 24 hours passing golf ball size clots every 20 minutes. I was taken via ambulance to our hospital and was given blood transfusions while in ICU with an emergency D&C. Its been almost a month and I'm still at home recovering and dont know when I can return to work. The doctors are still scratching their heads and have no idea what happened. I did bleed 2 months straight before the shot and dont know if that was the problem but I'm very thankful the bleeding has finally stopped. I'm due for my next shot this Thursday and am crossing my fingers that every thing will work O.K. I just want this crap in my body to shrink and I know that Lupron has the power to do just that. I just want to make you all aware that the first couple weeks of the shot may increase your symptoms and then will and should taper off. Wish me Luck!!!
