Hi Christyn!! I have taken 5 mos of the 6 mos teatment of Lupron and I got no relief at all. We are going to take a different route for now.Since the Laproscopic surgery gave me some temporary relief, I'm going to see a gastrointerologist doctor just to make sure that is it not IBS or Crhones disease or something like that . Othewise I'mm off for the big "H"!!! The doctor that did the laproscopic said some of the tissue he removed was right off topp of the colon which could indicate the endo is making the irritable bowell worse or the irritable bowlell making the endo worse. And thank God for the hormone treatments for the hot flashes. I thought I would die or worse Kill my family . But I hate to be the bearer of bad news, comming off the Lupron has been worse that anything else. I feel so emotional like nothing I"ve ever felt. I literally cry all the time. I feel su useless. Even when nothing was wrong. I honestly hate myself now. I slept all day today. When Called the doctor and told him how I was fillig he put me back on prozaz. We'll see if it helps any. In answer to your question, the lupron kick in pretty quick, at least it did wiht me. My periods stopped pretty quick, but through it all I could stll tell what week my period would have been, that was the worst the pain was. I would love to correspond with you and find out where you are from and what treatments you go through. So pleasee-mail me direcly. Cynthia
