I just received my first injection 3 weeks ago and am recovering at home after being hospitalized for 3 days in ICU. Within 3 hours of receiving the shot, I started gushing blood and within 24 hours passing golf ball size clots every 20 minutes. I was taken via ambulance to our hospital with a hemoglobin of 7.2. Outcome was blood transfusions, emergency D&C and ICU care. I'm due for my next shot next week and am pretty nervous about it. The doctors have never seen anything like this and are still scratching their heads. I realize that the first 2 weeks of the injection your Endo symptoms worsen, but did not expect this.
