Lisa- I got Lupron shots in March and June. I had 3 periods while on the shots and got another one two weeks ago. They were just as awful as before the shots. I had minimal side effects from Lupron, so I guess it was worth it for me, since I only had 3 periods instead of 6! I went back to my ob/gyn yesterday and I'm getting a lap in a couple of weeks to see how bad the endo is since the Lupron didn't do much.
