Re: danazol and pregnancy

Danazol is NOT a form of birth control. I take birth control pills along with the danazol to avoid pregnancy. Even though the danazol decrease estrogen levels, sometimes it is possible for an egg to sneak its way through. While it might provide some protection it isn't reliable and the side effects it does to the accidental fetus can be terrible. My husband and I use condoms to prevent the misfortune of accidentally getting pregnant and harming our unborn child. This is just my personal experience with danazol.
