My first lap was with a bad doctor and all she did was opened me up and go ...Oh it is endo...and sewed me up. Once I found a well repected doctor he perfomred another lap and in that surgery he removed all that he could. However I have some endo growing on my sciatic nerve that he left because he was afraid of damaging the nerve. They will also remove adhesions or any scar tissue that the endo caused. I am in fact saving up for my third lap. If you have good insurance and can afford it, I would go for the lap. I hope I helped toease your mind somewhat.
