Re: Are these symptoms of Endometriosis??

Michelle, Hello again, I'm 30, will be 31 in Oct. My gyn I go to doesn't talk much, I think he is a good dr but not talkative so I don't know what he's thinking. I'm not sure if he's just waiting till the lap and go from there, he hasn't even mentioned the words endo or hysteroctomy. He did say "maybe" adhesions. When I went to the MD on Friday for the last urine test to ck for an infection, he said maybe it's endo, and he talked some about my ultrasound but not in details b/c "something" did show on my right side, but he said the Radiologist didn't even know for sure what it was...???? At this point I feel like no one knows anything! Including me. My sister was diagnosed w/ Stage 4 in 2000. She thinks I have it b/c of the symptoms, but time will tell. I'll keep you posted. I'll let you know how the lap goes and what they find. Just wondering if they go in and do the lap and find severe endo, would they just do a hyster.? I know I signed papers when i went for my pre-op but didn't read every word (proby bad of me) but it was giving them permission to perform the surgery, etc. I'd like to think they'll take care of it right then rather than schedule another surgery. Maybe they would want to try other stuff first. My sister was on Lupron for 7 months and it seemed to help, but she is now pregnant and that has done the trick for now, but the adhesions are still there and causing problems. She has a high risk preg. and was just diagnosed w/Lupus! Anyway, will go for now. Thanks for everything! Female problems run in our family, My mom had a hysterectomy, not exactly sure why, my older sister only has one ovary now, and my younger sister that is preg. had ovarian cancer when she was twelve and has only 1/3 of an ovary left. Have you ever heard of a connection between Lupus and endo? Was wondering if I should be cked? I'll be in touch after my surger/your vacation.
