Hi Kim, your problems kind of sound like what I went through, I had the pain all over as well, it was to the point I thought I was dying!!! I had periods to the point I was changing every hour because they were to heavy. I also had a lap., done and they found out I have early stages (age 21). I was then put on Yasmin BC taking all active pills for a year.

They don't know what causes endo, but hereditary is a possiblity. My aunt had it so that was the deciding factor for me to get the surgery done. As far as the lap. goes, you can expect minimal pain after the surgery...probably nothing compared to child birth or "normal" everyday pain that you've been having. Feeling sick to your stomoch immediatly after is also common... I remember me being extremely dizzy afterwards for about an hour and then hungry (for KFC as a matter of fact). I was up and slowly walking the next day. No heavy lifting for about a week though, that hurts!!! But the procedure was about an hour long. Any other questions you can write me at Devon_pahnke@hotmail.com and good luck
