Are these symptoms of Endometriosis??From: Kim (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Sep 8 15:42:11 2003
Hello, I'm new to the forum. I'm really hoping for some support. Haven't had luck on other boards. I am scheduled for a laporoscopy on 9/15 so I hope to get some answers then. For a while now I have been experiencing pain mainly in my right side. Have put it off in hopes it would just go away. But it didn't. Instead it has gotten much worse! I have severe pain in my right side, sometimes low, and sometimes up high. Now it has gone to my left side as well. I have heavy, painful periods and painful intercourse. Now whatever it is, it's affecting when I urinate. It is very painful at times, not every time. It hurts in my bladder area and I guess my uretha. I have had urine tests done a couple of times and no infections. I'm not experiencing urgency, I go a normal amount it just really hurts sometimes, atleast once or more a day. I suffer from lower back pain as well, but not sure if it's realated or not b/c I have had back surgery a few yrs ago for hurniated disks. My periods are heavy and sometimes I skip a month. I had my tubes tied approx. 3 yrs ago, after having my 3 children (1 9yrs old, and twins that are 7 yrs.). My younger sister has endo. Not sure if that matters or not. The pain has been so bad that right now they have me on pain med. it helps some, but not completely. Just looking for some answers...I just recently got re-married to a wonderful man and I want to feel good again, it seems to be affecting EVERYTHING! If this is infact endo., what can I expect as far as my laporoscopy goes??? I know this is long, thank you for taking the time to read this! I appreciate any and all feedback!!!!
