Hi Cindy, I am 30 and have had endo for years. I just want to say this is a good place to come for support. The ladies here are great. What I can suggest to you, is to get educated on endometriosis. Knowledge is power. I know what your going through. I just had a lap done 5 weeks ago and I had my period and it was a little better. I have infertility due to the endo and have been trying to conceive for over a year and a half. I haven't been able to take anything for pain other than motrin for pain. I did have a doctor who prescribed me percocet and that helped. I do have a few left from my surgery that I will take when things get bad on my period. Please don't think that taking narcotics is not the way to go. There are many women who take them and they are not addicts. Living with pain is not the way to live and if pain medication helps..I say take it under doctor's supervision. There have been post about tiger balm and applying heat. You will find a lot of good tips here from the ladies and try them, you never know, it might just be the trick. What is your doctor suggesting for treatment now? Are you going without any treatment? You need to talk with your doc and get a plan going. This stuff grows back depending on the person. There has to be an option for you. I wish my endo would go away. The heating pad is my best friend! How long has it been since your laparoscopy? Did you have painful sex right after you healed from your surgery? I know this sounds crazy, but try new positions and maybe that will help. You need a game plan with your doc. This isn't going to go away...somedays may be better than others, but you need to take care of yourself. I think we all get to a point where we want to throw in the towel and get frustrated. I know I do. Sometimes we have to live minute to minute, but just remember, this is a good place to come for support. I know this wasn't much help, but I hope your feeling better soon. Misty >
