Re: does anyone have....From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Sep 5 14:04:53 2003
Jen, I too often bleed after sex. Not every time, but sometimes. I have mentioned it to my doctor and he acts like it is nothing to worry about-just an endo thing. I don't always see eye-to-eye with him, and in fact am getting ready to switch docs. I know many women with endo who experience bleeding after sex. I notice that different positions or hard love-making seem to make it occur. I have just learned to live with it and don't really get too alarmed anymore. I find the bleeding is usually just heavy spotting and usually goes away after a few hours. My hubby and I just try to take it easy during intercourse and not go at it too hard or rough. Thankfully,he is a wonderful man who always supports me and understands, which somehow makes it more bearable. Hope this helps a little to know you are not alone. If you ever want to talk one-on-one, feel free to email me direct. Been there, done that and know how scary it can be. Hugs! Amy Meyer
