Hi Olivia...

I have had 3 Lap's (just like yourself) although all 3 of mine were within a year!!! I had my 1st in October of 2001, Endo was cauterized from various areas and my R ovary was attached to the wall of my pelvis. Started Lupron (1 month shots) on December 10th 2001, was miserable and almost suicidal until I stopped them in March. 2nd Lap was April 16th 2002... Gyn wanted to wait until the Lupron was close to being out of my body. The 2nd Lap I had my R uterosacral ligament removed (I wish everyone could see the HUGE mass of Endo I had on that baby!) From April until September 2002 I was on Alesse (low estrogen BCP). Still NO relief. October 8th 2002 I had my 3rd Lap... There were new lesions ALL OVER. I had them on my rectum, on my uterus, on my R ovary and behind my R hip bone and on the other uterosacral ligament. Most of it was excised but Gyn wouldn't touch the stuff on my rectum because she would have to resect it so on Lupron I went again... This time I was on the 3 month shots... First one being 1 week after Lap on October 16th 2002 and the last being on January 16th 2003. I swore I would NEVER go on Lupron again after the ordeal I had the first time BUT... I didn't have any side effects from it at all!!! I have been pain free for almost a year. I haven't felt this good for 2 years. I have only had 1 period since my last Lap but it lasted for 5 weeks because of the Lupron and I was on a progesterone based pill (BCP) while I was on Lupron.

I know this is probably MORE than what you were asking for but that's my experience. Good luck to you!!!
