Hey, I am not real familiar with PCOD, but I might be able to help. I have had ovarian cysts for the past 6 years, I am 21 now. I have also been on a whole slew of bc pills since then. But, I know that I have also had troubles with cysts coming back since then, I get the huge king that burst and make me bleed internally and all that yucky stuff. My doctor told me that after a while, for some reason or another, certain bc pills are no longer strong enough to totally prevent ovulation, therefore you can still get cysts while on the pill. When I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen, I got several cysts, and ended up pregnant. I miscarried, maybe due to endo and hormonal imbalances, but now I am on Yasmin. I know with my cysts, it has helped immensely, and I haven't had any cysts since then. Hope this helps. If you have any other q's, just ask. At Wed, 3 Sep 2003, anonymous wrote: >
