Endo and weight loss

Hello, I have been suffering with endo for five years now. I had a lap about a year ago and it helped for a while. I am getting back to the point where I am in pain everyday and can only do anything if taking pain killers. I want to have another lap cause my insurance doens't cover lupron. I am on continuous BC and Danazol. My husband however said that I can only have this surgery if I lose weight. I am 50 pounds heavier than when we met, but I have suffered through bouts of severe depression and the side effects to BC and antidepressants. What I wanted to know is has anyone seen an improvement in pain after weight loss? Has anyone seen or noticed a connection between weight and endo pain. Thanks for you help.
