With NPC, she will need to learn about her hormones and how they work before trying this...as well as learn about NPC. She will need to give it a minimum of 7 months to see the full effects...as it is 'natural' and does work 'naturally'. There are stages of estrogen flare-ups in the first month, third month, and seventh month. After that, there shouldn't be much of a problem. NPC normally works for women that have an estrogen dominant case. This does not mean that their estrogen is high. This means their estrogen is high in comparison to their progesterone level. And, it takes several saliva hormone tests at certain times of the month to find that out. Why not just one? Our hormones fluctuate every hour...so there is no way to take a real reading...only take readings and compare. Now, NPC, like all treatments, doesn't work for everyone. But, it is holistic, and it has worked for several people I know. One has been on it for 9 yrs with no problems...one has been on it for a year and half...no problems, and it reduced all of her cysts to 1 cm or less (they were all about 4 - 5 cm).
