#1 How many laparoscopies/and or laparotomies have you had for endo? 2 laparoscopies: november 2002, laser cauterization; june 2003, excision #2 What medical treatments did you try after or in between surgery, and did they help? If so, for how long were they helpful? tried 3 months lupron depot 3.75; possibly helpful because when i had the "2nd look lap" there was very little regrowth. however, the side effects of depression and bladder problems were too much, so we stopped treatment. i was supposed to do 6 months. 2 months of continuous birth control (ring and patch). i've only had 2 cycles since all the stuff. 1st cycle was withdrawal bleed, so it was very easy. 2nd cycle was late (even though bloodwork shows i did ovulate), extremely heavy, and a little painful. panicked and called doc. found out that since i haven't made my own hormones in so long, the next cycle or 2 will be bad. but taking motrin (600-800mg) did help with the bleeding. and staying off my feet. length of cycles should be getting back to normal soon.
