diet changesFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Aug 28 10:56:35 2003
Just wanted to let you girls know that I have been trying a drastic diet change for my endo (stage 4). I have never had surgery because it is not my religous belief. But the diet change has helped alot! I never ate horribly before, but now I stay away from dairy, red meat (anything that has animal fat in it), wheat, starches, sugars, caffine, carbonated drinks, and salt. (sounds like everything, doesn't it). What I do eat is fruit, veggies, seafood, beans and all the water I can handle,to start with. ( I also take suppliments and calcium)And I am exploring new foods to try and make it interesting. (I miss my steak and hot cocoa!!)I'm not saying this is right or will work for all, but seems to help me. Just wondered if anyone else has found similar results with diet changes? And if you did, what other foods can we eat? Also, if anyone in the USA has found the Manasul? Mansula? tea that was talked about a while ago on here. I can't find it or info on it to see if I could try that? Any other suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks, and may Gods healing hands touch all.
