Hello Ladies, I had my sonogram today and was told by the doctor that I have adenomyosis. He offered to treat me with birth control pills or for temporary treatment, Lupron. I was very disappointed because from all the information that I gatherered an ultrasound is not a definitive way to detect this disease. He didn't even explore the possibility of endometriosis because no cysts showed up on the ultrasound. He says that he will not do a laparoscopy at this point. Where do I go from here?
