ok so i've been suffering with extreme anal itching and pressure with constipation for 2 years now and i finally found a wonderful GI specialist who referred me out to a GYN specialist whodiagnosed me with endometriosis..he told me that the endo, which was wrapped around my bowels and between my bowel and cervix,and diet lead to the constipation which lead to the anal itching cuz it caused small hemmeroids.. his advice~ stool softener>helped a bit<,anal cream and using powder to lessen the moisture.. ok so i did everything and nothing helped!! sure the constipation is a bit better but im still itching and its driving me bananas.. and i recently tried the powder.. i chose Gold Bond medicated extra strength and now im dieing! it was great at first.. the itching was minimized and i felt that the hemmeroids shrunk a bit.. but now im suffering cuz my vulvae and clitois began itching and as of yesterday they swelled to the point that my vagina is hidden... urinating is not a problem and i have no abnormal discharge so i think this horrible gold bond powder gave me a horrid reaction! so im suffering now unable to sit comfortably and then i spoke to a male friend who used it and the same happened to him except it was on the head of his penis.. so a word of caution to anyone chosing Gold Bond medicated for anal or itching problems.. u may have an adverse reaction like me and my friend and it's beyond awful! has anyone else had this problem???
