Hello all, i'm 26 and been on Mircette since 19. All women in my family have a history of long painful periods and i am no exception. While on Mircette my period would last 3-4 days...last months my job schedule was erratic and it led me to take the pill not quite on time and sometimes forget it. The last 2-3 months my menstruation was almost lacking, only a light dark spotting. I was diagnosed by that time with depression, anxiety, and got medicated with Prozac. I lost like 4 kg from then till now. I called my doctor by that time and explained her the pill situation, how i had missed a few...and she told me to wait until the next period and start taking it in the first bleeding day. My last period had ended days before that so i waited a whole month(July) and started the pill on the first bleeding day. Thing is, from then on, i haven't stopped bleeding, have had awful, very painful cramps, not every day but persistant, light pain when urinating and since yesterday (when the pill package ended) horrid cramps again and the bleeding doesn't stop. The bleeding is not heavy and mostly brown stuff, but my lower abdomen and back hurt a lot. Tomorrow i'm checking into my hospital to see what's happening, but i've read about endo a while ago while browsing about the symptoms i have and i'm very VERY scared. I've never had anything like this before, while taking the pill i wouldnt have cramps, this is unusual to me. Could it be just my hormones going berserk? My last exams in November revealed high oestrogen count, a few benign ovarian cysts (my doctor didn't pointed them as a risky thing) and a clean Pap. Can anyone relate to this? Could it be endo? I'm scared that this might be serious, but then again it has only started less than a month ago and i've been giving it time - i only came to the info on endo a while ago and i'm scared. Could i become infertile because ov this? I feel so bad about this.
