belching, indigestion, odor

Hello all,

2 weeks ago today I had surgery to remove my right ovary. The doctor thought it had developed into a taratoma cist. ONce surgery was performed, he found it was a sack of blood, 500 cc, weighed a pound, endometriosis.

I'm amazed at how fast I am recovering. Everything seems to be going quite well but I am very uncomfortable with indigestion. At night I can't seem to lay down for more than 5 minutes with out having to sit up to belch. Once I do get to sleep I wake up b/c of discomfort from the gas.

Will this go away? What can help? Tums don't help.

Before my surgery I never noticed an odor about the vaginal area. Now it is a stench. What is this??????? and will this go away?

Thanks,

Alison
