Hi, my name is amanda and this is the first time i have posted to this site. I am 21 years old going on 22 real soon and i have been dealing with endo for almost 6 years (since 16). I have had 4 laproscopic surgeries so far. I have been on 2 different kinds of anti-inflammatory medication and niether one works. My doctor has talked to me about lupron and it seems kind of scary to try. He put me on the patch for 11 weeks off for one instead of the regular wear of it. It is supposed to help me with the pain, but nothing has been working. I have been taking darvocet, and vicodin and other pain killers for the past 5 years and my doctor said i was addicted to them and sent me to pain management. Well at the pain management place they want to do accupuncture and put me on chinese herbs. I'm not so sure about that either. Some days the pain is unbearable other days the pain is tolerable. But there is not a day that goes by wear i don't have any pain. Sometimes its hard to function. Its a very fustrating thing to do with and sometimes even emotional, and i know that you all know that. So if someone would give me a suggestion i would really appreciate it alot. And if anyone would like to ask me questions or just want to talk about it i am here.
