You're not alone at all. Many of us can relate and understand exactly what you're going through. I don't know of a woman with endo who hasn't considered just removing all her reproductive organs just to get out of pain but unfortunately, that doesn't resolve it for a lot of women.

A lot of women get a diganostic lap done but the surgeons don't have time or the expertise to remove what's there. A regular ob/gyn often can't remove the affected areas of your bowel and so there is nothing more they can do. And many times, hospitals and doctors run surgery like an assembly line and simply don't allow time to do anything but take a peek and close you back up. It's too bad this wasn't explained to you ahead of time though.

It seems that some women get the best results if they find a specialist in endo who can remove all traces of it in one surgery but the doctors who can do this seem to be few and far between with lengthy waiting lists. Maybe you can sit down with the doctor who diagnosed you and ask for a referral to someone who can remove all of the endo.

I'm sorry for your pain. I deal with it on a daily basis also and many of us have found that more and more of the month is full of pain, irregular bleeding and a host of other symptoms. When you're feeling so fed up, it's time to really take care of yourself. Have a hot bath or curl up with a book or good movie or do something that you enjoy but doesn't cause additional pain. It's important to try and etch out a little portion of each day for something that feels good for a change - a pain break of sorts....

In the meantime, just know that you're not alone with your struggle and this is defnitely the place to rant and rave when you need to.

Hang in there and take care of you.
