Previous message: catie: "Furious and Curious....Please Help!" I am 30 years old and having been suffering from severe pain b4 and during my periods since I started having them at fourteen. I also have severe bleeding and irregular periods. I have tried bc pills - estrogen based and progesterin based with little to no success. Depo works but I have severe problems with side effects, ie depression, loss of sex drive, inability to sleep with out sleep aid. I have read until my eyes are ready to pop and think that I should find out for sure if I have endo,my mom and grandmother both did. I would like to find a doctor who would do a proper diagnosis and possibly excise all the vissible lession and then do ablation therapy to stop the exessive bleeding. I know that this will not cure my problem, but it may buy me a couple of hormone free years of relief b4 I would need surgery again. Anybody else have any ideas.
