Dear A, I took Aygestin while taking Lupron Depot shots for 4 months. It never stopped my period for 3 1/2 months. It like alot other meds don't help everyone. Depo Provera is helping me more than the Lupron, Yasmin, Orthotricyclen, Orthocyclen, or Mircette ever did. I've been battling this disease for 14 months now. Unfortunately this runs in my family on my mom's father's side along w/ PCOS which I also have. Hopefully one day soon they will find a cure for all these disorders and no other woman will have to go through what we have had to endure. Good luck and God bless to all our fellow sufferers. Michelle

I am sorry that you are suffering so badly from this disease. I can't really offer any info other than to tell you to ask your doctor to prescribe Aygestin/Norethindrone. This drug stops your period COMPLETELY,which slows down the endo/adhesion growth process. Some women have different reactions to the drug like depression. I myself love it and have no symptoms at all. I am still in a hell of a lot of pain, however. Good luck
