I don't know if this would be similar, but I used to "deliver" these large "tentacles" before I had the endometrial hyperplasia scraped out during a D&C. If you've never seen pictures of endometrial hyperplasia in a uterus, it's pretty amazing -- the whole uterus can be filled with these fronds/tentacles that grow to a very large size and are not always expelled during menses, so they keep on growing.
