Bleeding and bad cramps on 2nd & 3rd weeks of bc pills

Hello ladies-

I really don’t know what to do anymore! I had a laparoscopy done at the beginning of June and Endometriosis was found. After the surgery there was no pain until my first period; which came a week late and was VERY painful. I could not stand the pain so decided to start b/c pills (Ovcon-35) to try and help with the pain, since nothing else works (Bextra, Motrin, Vicodin, etc…). Well, I just started my third week of pills and am having another full-on period (it started at the end of the second week of active pills). This is not just spotting either; I have clots and actual bleeding NOT just spotting. I can’t take these cramps anymore; I can’t sleep and have to be at work later this morning. I have meetings that I need to be alert for and don’t know what I’m going to do.

I have taken 4 Advil (800mg) and this pain is still pretty intense. It’s 4AM and I usually don’t get up until 8AM, I can’t sleep because of this pain. It just seems like there is something else going on, what do I do? I am popping Advil like they are candy; I’m so frustrated and want to scream! Really, if you knew me you would know that I like my sleep and am NOT a morning person. There is NO WAY that I would be up at 4AM for anything else! These cramps are ruling my life!!!

Any advice as to what I should do or ask my doctor? What else could be going on??? This pain is worse now than before the surgery. I want to scream!
