Hi there! Wow, if i were able to redo my life, i'd never have started Paxil! Never. I know that everyone is differant, but here, listen to my story with it. I had been on it for about 4 months the first time that i tryed taking myself off of it. I went through 2 days of crying because of such painful head "zaps". I couldn't function at all. So, yes the side effects are still there with coming off of Paxil. I started out on 20mg, and it worked for a few weeks, then stopped working, so i was moved to 30mg. Same thing happened, and on and on it went. I was on 60mg before i decided to get off completely. I switched to Lexapro which has fewer side affects. It has been working good so far. With the Paxil, i gained about 30 pounds in 2 months, and i was always sleeping. I felt like i never got out of bed. So anyways, each person handles Paxil differently, but i don't want anyone to go through what i have with this stuff. It has made me have such horribly violent and graphic nightmares, that i was terrified to go to sleep at night. I had to sleep with the light on. Plus, it made me unable to have an orgasm at all. So, think about it before you stay on it. I don't want you to experience what i did.

Take Care! Good Luck! April
