Tina, Hiya hon. Ultimately, you are the one that has to live with the decision that you make. My first advice is to find a dr that is really experienced in treating endometriosis. Unfortunately, most drs push Lupron onto women with endo and promise a "cure" all.. I took one 3-month shot of Lupron and will never do it again. For me, the side-effects from Lupron were worse than endo itself. I experienced the normal menopausal side-effects that come with any treatment that suppresses menses, but I suffered far worse than that. I was 21 at the time that I took it.. I ended up getting osteoporosis (which helped me fracture 2 disks in my back). Fibromyalgia developed (basically you're body feels like you were hit by a semi truck and you haven't slept in years). It effected my short-term memory (which I still haven't recovered from almost 2 years later). Look on the FDA's web site for the side-effects from Lupron.. it's a BIG list (I think about 40 pages). Honestly, you need to do all of the research that you can before you decide for or against taking Lupron. Keep in mind while you are looking at sites though that anyone can make a web site about something they feel strongly about. Most websites are designed to persuade you one way or another.. For instance, the Lupron Victim's Network website is designed to scare you out of taking Lupron, and then TAP Pharm has designed websites to try to convince you to take this medicine. I hope that I've helped you some hon. By the way, I'm 24 and 10 weeks away from having my second son. The drs told me that I would never get pregnant again....
