Hi-I've had a pain in my right side since my c-sec in '99. I've had a couple ultrasounds to check my gallbladdar which is fine-chest x-ray, blood tests, bone scan, & a ct scan. Then the pain continued so I had a laparoscopy in '02, which found severe scarring (adhesions). My dr said he couldn't get the scope in very far to look around because the adhesions were so dense. More pain-so I had a laparotomy (like a c-sec) in Feb this year. I had a severe case of endo (which is a major cause of adhesions) & adhesions encasing my ovaries & all over & around my liver!! I've had some pain relief since then. I know some dr's don't believe adhesions cause pain-but they can adhere organs to other organ, or the abdominal wall & cause bowell obstructions. Believe me-I know they cause pain! As well as endo does. Feel free to email me & here's site that you might be interested in: http://www.adhesions.org Good luck! Mandy
