BC pills after lapaoscopy

Can anyone give me any information on BC pill brands that have little side effects? I know everyone is different with how they react, but I'm looking for a pill that is mild. I need to try and get rid of this period pain and maybe take the pill continueous to stop my period.

I took Ortho Novom 777 a while back (it helped reduce the pain), but I didn't like the side effects. I felt bloated and my breasts got big; I know it sounds funny and a lot of girls may like that side effect, but I hated it! I am athletic (I run all the time) and don't need them in the way! Plus, I felt very bloated in the middle section. Also, the Depro shot made me anemic, so that is ruled out for me.

Any suggestions on some good pills out now? It's been 5 years since I took any BC pills and I know there are a lot of new ones out in the market. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated... Thanks!
