Lupron, Lap, Endo, Joy and Fears

Hey everyone, My name is Jennifer. I just wanted to share my wonderful news, and my fears. I finished my second round of depo lupron about 2 and 1/2 months ago. I will never do that again, I had forgotten how horrible the side effects were. One good thing did come out of it though. I started experiencing horrible pain again within a month of the end of that treatment. Here's the events surrounding what i want to tell. I had a great dr in Denver Colorado, no he was the BEST dr. so far. I moved back to san diego, which is home, about a little over two years ago. I posted here and a few other places about finding a dr here. One was suggested, but he treated me so horribly that i quit seeing him. And really. i could have done without the Ultrasounds every month. What a violoation! Well, then i found a new dr, whom i really liked. He and i talked about doing another round of Lupron, and i reluctantly agreed. Another blow, i lost my insurance, and had to switch to Kaiser. So now i have a new dr. Dont know if i like him yet or not, we'll see. I went to him with my horrible pain. I got an Ultrasound done, he said their was a small cyst next to my right over. He actually had the audacity to say that that wouldnt be causing me any pain or problems. Doesnt he understand that these things grow and then go back down, and grow, and go back down, so on and so on. SO that tiny 2cm cyst, was the size of a large grape when i had my Lap done friday. OUt of anger, i told him to do one, becuase he pissed me off with that comment. Anyway.. the good news The endo is gone... well, in recession as we all know BUT... here are my fears I have been on a continous pill for about 3 years, only stopping for the Lupron treatments, and stopping for my first Lap. this dr didnt have me quit the pills weeks before surgery, in fact, i am still on them. He also told me, after surgery. That if their was any pain in the future, it was not GYN. well... hmm..... I hope he is right. But.. the first lap burnt off endo, drained and cauterized a cyst. Looking at those pics. my uterus is covered with light brown splotches. I started experiencing pain within six months of surgery, then i started the lupron. within a few months i was having horrible pains again. this time the pain was a month after the lupron it was only a fallopian (sp?) cyst which they removed. the pics show a nice pink uterus, with no brown spots YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im over joyed about that. I really am. But if i experience pain again, will this doctor take me seriously? Jennifer
