Hi girls, I am have my 1st diagnostic laparoscopy in about two weeks. I really wanted to thank you all for your messages. They have helped me realize that I am not crazy and that this is real. I love hearing from real women who deal with it rather than only doctors and articles. I am pretty scared of the procedure. My mother had endo and didn't manage to conceive me until 32 years of age. I began my period at 10 years old and the pain began a couple years later. I was always told it was just part of being a woman. I am now 22 years old and I had finally had it 3 years ago. I have heard IBS, fibroids, cysts, and of course endo. After about 10 doctors I finally found a doctor that wants to find out what it really is. Thanks to message boards and forums like this, I knew what I was talking about this time. No doctor was going to tell me I am too young ever again. THANK YOU ALL FOR SUPPORT!
