Endo after hysterectomy

I had a total vag. hysterectomy in March of 2002. My right ovary was taken out in 1996 due to endo and my Dr. couldn't save it. My ob/gyn. left in my left ovary and left the 3 endo implants he found on it in me! He said he didn't want to put me into menopause at my age (30). A little over a year later I find that I am having problems again. Painful intercourse w/ my husband, lower back pain and severe pain in my lower left side where my ovary is. I went to a new dr. who was recommended to me, she recommends that I try the Lupron shot for a min. of 3 months. My problem is that I have no health ins. due to "pre-existing conditions" (the endo). My new dr. charges $1000.00 per month for thr shots and can't even guarantee that they'll work and if they do only for a while. My dad is paying my med. bills, as my husband and I can't. Does Lupron really work or should I just have the ovary removed and go on HRT. I know the surgery is a lot more expensive, but in the long run I think it would be cheaper and less painful, if I'm going to have to have the surgery anyway. and the shot doesn't work, I wasted all that $. My new gyn. referred me to Dr. Steven McCarus @ Celebration Hosp. in FL., is he any good, will he do what a patient wants, which I'm kinda leaning toward the surgery. Somebody pls. help me! I'm tired living my life in pain. I have been going through all this for over 8 years.
