Re: Symptoms Returning Full Force....Please HelpFrom: Kerry-Ann (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Jun 28 03:45:44 2003
Rachel,
-- Kerry-Ann Morris here. I really do know what you are going through. Since my surgeries in 1999 I have had really unusual bowel movements. Before the surgeries I went to the bathroom like a duck. Religiously after meals. But now I would be grateful if I go once a day! For Christ sake I felt like I was so plugged up all the time that all that is left for me to do is cry! So to relieve the stress somewhat I tried a couple of things. I ate prunes, whole wheat, as much fibre as I can take - and I am not a fan :( and I finally resorted to colonic cleansing. I did the cleanse and it worked somewhat. Nothing to write home about. But it does work. Maybe you could try that. What works for me best is prunes. Try that as well. You can get the juice or just eat the fruit itself. Good luck to you but try not to let this thing get you down. One of the major drawbacks to proper recovery and living with this disease is the psychological effect it has on us. It is so hard to get over it but we need to try and be strong for ourselves in order to help our bodies fight this disease. My prayers are with you and as we say here in Jamaica WALK GOOD!!!
